Angela Evelyn Bassett is an American actress from America. In the film and television industry, she is known for her many awards and nominations. Bassett was raised in New York New York and fostered by an aunt who lived in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett along with her mother and sister relocated to St. Petersburg Florida when Bassett was five. Their father divorced their mother. Bassett was in high school when she saw the James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck in the play Of Mice and Men and knew that her dream to become an actor come true. She went to Yale University New Haven Connecticut receiving a bachelor's degree (1980) in African American studies and a master's degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. Courtney B. Vance was also an actor at Yale. They were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1981. Master in Fine Arts from Yale School of Drama School. Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (7th grade), Azalea Middle School (8th and 9th grade), Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working in one of the lead characters in the film Ramonda in the action film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda forever (2022).
