Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and sometimes stylized with uppercase letters in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval of bloggers in the music industry and media. Half the World Away - by Oasis to accompany John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole have already been two covers worth noting that she has recorded. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry promoted her song Runaway. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding a grand piano in the attic. She was fascinated by its capabilities. Parents May-Britt as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as an occupation or pastime but as a way to develop. As a result, she began writing the music she composed herself. She cites renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as an appreciation for the style of Bjork. Her mother had told her that her songs could not only help her achieve fame and also inspire others to see their significance to the world and appreciate what can be done with her songs She decided to start performing publicly. The mother of her child suggested that she be able to perform her music publicly in order so that people can see their importance and the ways they could impact the world. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known to her family members until she was fourteen. Aurora wasn't a dream. The only thing she loves is writing songs. Music is her preferred method of feeling anything.
